NSClient++ Help (#1) - Extend NSCA Buffer [SOLVED] (#566) - Message List

Hello everyone,

I'm actually using the NSCA module of NSCLIENT++ and i hit the 512 chars limits.

So I was thinking to extend this value. To be able to do this i thought of changing this constant in NSclient++ sources #define NSCA_STRLEN_DEFAULT 512.

Of course recompile "NSCA server" with the same value.

Did somebody already try this ? Or maybe is there another way to work-around this 512 chars limits that i did not find out ? I also need to keep a "next next" installer. What can i use to do this type of installer if i recompile nsclient++ ?
