    I’m trying to figure out how to make a test that requires a particular event in the log that’s younger than a certain age. The docs for the old syntax give an example:

    Under the heading: “Check if a script is running as it should”

    I don’t understand how to do this with the new syntax, though.

    Sounds like “…filter=generated gt -2d…” is what you want.
    This mean show me errors which were generated less then 2 days ago…in essence read it like this: “if date (generated) is more then 2 days ago”. So in theory this will also catch errors generated “in the future” which usually is not a problem.
